St Anslem's Church, Kennington

The Pathways at Kennington Cross project aims to give opportunities to the most marginalised and disadvantaged people in the local community, including ex-offenders, by drawing on the strengths of the local community.

The project revolves around redeveloping the St Anselm's church site in the centre of Kennington into a new community hub. At its heart will be a new café, providing work, training and accommodation for ex-offenders. There will also be new community and charity space, as well as a nursery for local children and business units for social enterprises, which have already been completed.

The Duchy of Cornwall is a partner to the project and guided the initial public consultation, which helped to shape the architectural design for the development.
